Preparing CAT? Know How to Develop Good Reading Habits

CAT exams have been challenging in one way or the other every year. But still, the right amount of strategy, planning, and implementation always helps in scoring well for this test. Here are some simple tips before the big day.

Understanding the Syllabus: This is a mandatory tip almost for all examinations.CAT is divided into 4 parts:

*Quantitative Ability
*Data Interpretation
*Logical Reasoning
*Verbal Ability

The questions can be bit tricky & require a good amount of logical thinking. The questions can be cracked in the required time only through practice.
Is Coaching a Good Solution? Coaching centers give only guidance & the rest depends on how dedicatedly you practice. Most of the topics are what we already learned from school & few topics can be revised from other books & Study materials. If you are into a hectic job &  have little time to study, you need not go to coaching instead study by yourself.
Reading weighs a lot! A large number of students perform well in quant but not in verbal. CAT is more of general English exam which tests once command over English in common usage. The only way to improve is to read a lot of books written in good English. This can increase your familiarity with the subject & help you improve your score!

Test Series: This is the Holy Grail of CAT Preparation. Appearing for 15-20 Mock tests can boost your confidence to get a good score. Doing so, CAT will no longer a stranger to you.

Start Early: CAT Aspirants can always start early as an early start would benefit them in gaining knowledge. Extra time can be spent in reading habits & increasing vocabulary.
